Read about the six areas we are currently focusing on in the update by CTIC’s Managing Consultant.

  • RESEARCH SAMPLES NOW AVAILABLE
November 14, 2007 – CTIC is now making samples of its Carbon NanoSphere Chain™ material available to approved companies for analysis and product development. CNSC material is catalyst-free and 100% pure carbon as produced, with no imbedded extraneous materials. Companies wishing to obtain samples of CNSC material can go to the SALES page and submit the email request form.

  • Electrical Conductivity and Composites
October 1, 2007 – CleanTechnology International Corp. announces the release of new research on its Carbon NanoSphere Chains (CNSC), from the Smart Structures Bionanotechnology Laboratory, University of Cincinnati.  This research data documents superior new levels of electrical conductivity (R=0.15 ohms/p=0.51 ohms cm) using post-production functionalized CNSC material.  It also reports on the manufacture of electrically conductive polymers, possible new applications for CNSC composites in various materials and early findings on its magnetic properties.  View a copy of the research report.

  • Production Facility Goes On-Line
In July 2007, CleanTechnology International Corp. began operation of its first high-volume production machine in Houston, TX. CTIC President Darrell Lainhart noted that this new unit is over ten times the capacity of the first production unit. Plans for a second machine in another location are underway.
  • Lubrication Enhancement with Carbon Nanospheres
See PRESS RELEASE which includes test results from the Southwest Research Institute in San Antonio, TX. This shows the ability of CleanTechnology International’s Carbon NanoSphere Chains to significantly enhance the lubricity of motor oil when used as an additive. Additional testing is being pursued with diesel and bio-diesel.
  • Structural Nanoskin
See PRESS RELEASE detailing the results of the latest research into exciting potential applications of CleanTechnology International’s Carbon NanoSphere Chains. New test reports, material analyses, applications, and business news will be forthcoming at this web site.
